GARETH SOUTHGATE's England have surpassed all expectations in Russia. Before a ball was kicked there was a real fear that the Three Lions would crash out early and it would be the same old story - but their run to the semis has seen the country fall in love with international football again. BECOMING a pilot is the dream job of many people – but it now seems like working in air traffic control could be even better. One Reddit thread reveals some surprising perks of the job – including mandatory retirement at the young age of 56. A US air traffic controller posted about openings for positions in the US and sang the praises of their career path. They said: “I can’t stress enough how amazing this job is.
