The founder of the Williams Racing Formula 1 team died in November , aged 79. The 56ft (17m) long art work features a 7ft (2.1m) high portrait of Sir Frank and thousands of tribute messages from fans. Creators MurWalls said some fans had "burst into tears" looking at it. Martina Navratilova was absent from Wimbledon’s centenary celebrations on Sunday after testing positive for coronavirus in the morning. The greatest Wimbledon singles champion in history was due to attend SW19 as a Royal Box guest alongside other tennis legends, including Billie Jean King and Rod Laver, as part of the 100th anniversary of Centre Court. Navratilova, 65, said she was “gutted” to miss the special occasion with her friend JK Rowling , who was due to attend with the American tennis star. George Russell has a better record of beating his team-mate than any other driver to have started at least 50 races in the last 40 years, new analysis reveals. Russell, who is outperforming Lewis Hamilton at Mercedes so far in 2022, has finished ahead of his team-mate in 49 of his 69 Grands Prix since making his debut in 2019. His success rate of 71 per cent is better than all of the leading drivers going back to the early 1980s, when constructors were first limited to a maximum of two cars. Current world champion Max Verstappen is next on the list, having finished ahead of his team-mate in 97 of his 150 races to date (65 per cent), ahead of Fernando Alonso (65 per cent), Michael Schumacher (63 per cent) and Hamilton (61 per cent).
