Poppy shirts worn by Wigan Athletic players in the Remembrance fixture against Leeds United are going under the hammer as part of the Sky Bet Poppy Auction. The auction of signed memorabilia from across the EFL’s 72 member clubs is raising money for the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.Fifteen Wigan shirts, from the Championship fixture on November 5, are being auctioned on the CharityStars website. Lee Wallace could be offered a January route out of Rangers by Wigan Athletic, according to reports. The former skipper - fined and suspended by the club along with Kenny Miller for an alleged dressing room bust-up with former boss Graeme Murty in April - has made only a fleeting sub appearance for Steven Gerrard this season. Last month the Scottish Professional Football League announced the pair's appeals against financial penalties had been successful. But Wallace 's future looks certain to be away from Ibrox with Gerrard bringing in full backs Jon Flanagan and Borna Barisic in the summer. The 31-year-old's contract expires next summer and now, according to the Sun, Wigan boss Paul Cook wants to take Wallace to the DW Stadium. The 26-year-old still had a year left on his contract with the Dark Blues when he left on deadline day. It came just four months after the club had reportedly rejected a seven-figure offer from Rosenborg for the former England international. Caulker was a marquee signing for Neil McCann when he penned an 18-month contract with Dundee in January. Now he is training with Championship side Wigan ahead of a potential deal.
