A 19-year-old died from sepsis after trying 25 times to get through to a GP surgery only to be refused an appointment, an inquest heard. University student Toby Hudson was unable to speak to anyone at the practice because of a faulty phone system and eventually gave up and called again the next day to be told he could not be seen for at least 48 hours. The tragic teenager was told that due to him being registered at another surgery in his university town of Southampton, Hants, he could either wait two days to re-register or go to an urgent care walk-in centre. Toby died two days after he had first sought help at the Wyke Regis & Lanehouse Medical Practice in Weymouth, Dorset. An inquest into his death in Bournemouth heard Toby had previously been a patient at the Weymouth practice. A DAD today spoke of his nightmares after his daughter was strangled by her fiance who wrapped her in clingfilm and ate a Subway next to her body. Madog Rowlands, 23, strangled 21-year-old Lauren Griffiths before waiting 24 hours to dial 999 and tell them he killed her "by mistake". The sadistic killer had wrapped her body in clingfilm, Sellotape and bin liners. He then sat with his dead fiancee and tucked into a Subway sandwich while setting up a Netflix account at their home in Cardiff in April 2018. Rowlands also bought cannabis and MDMA and ordered himself a Domino's pizza as college sweetheart Lauren lay lifeless next to him. The final anti-HS2 activist from a group who had spent at least a month underground in a network of tunnels has been removed. CURTIS Pritchard should probably stick to his day job as he leave fans cringing after trying his hand a stand-up comedy. The Celebs Go Dating star left the audience cringing as he opted for some very blue humour in the hopes of getting a laugh. Curtis , 25, was among the stars learning stand-up comedy from the professionals for a two-part series in support of Stand Up To Cancer. The reality show regular was paired up with Loose Women's Judi Love for the new C4 show Stand Up And Deliver. The first episode of the two-part series saw Curtis rehearse his jokes with Judi as another well-known professional comedians, Jason Manford and Nick Helm watched on. He started his rehearsal by getting up on stage while fumbling with the fly on his jeans, "oh bloody hell", he cursed.
