Families can hunt for golden eggs at Borde Hill Garden this spring. Christmas may only just be over, with some shops still selling off their festive stock, but Easter eggs are already on the shelves in some Burton stores. The chocolate treat has already appeared in some shops around Burton town centre more than three months ahead of Easter Sunday on April 21 and weeks ahead of Valentine's Day on February 14. But while some shops in the town centre are now selling off their Christmas stock at knockdown prices, with Santas still on offer in Thorntons, other stores are planning ahead. Sainsbury's, in Union Street, is already looking forward to Easter with a wide selection of chocolate eggs on offer for people planning ahead - or for those who get a little peckish while they are out shopping.
