Biden admin ‘planning to limit ICE immigration arrests & deportations’ after signing exec orders to shred Trump policies

PRESIDENT Joe Biden’s administration is planning to limit ICE immigration arrests and deportations after signing executive orders to shred Donald Trump's policies. It means Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents will no longer seek to deport immigrants for crimes such as driving under the influence and assault.  Under the Biden presidency, ICE officers will soon be given new guidance that will lead to fewer arrests and deportations while using more resources for national security issues, suspects in sex crimes, gang members, felons and recent arrivals, The Washington Post reported on Sunday. According to Homeland Security, the policy change would mean officers no longer seek deportations for immigrants convicted of drunken driving and assault, and will focus instead on national security threats, recent border crossers, and people completing prison and jail terms for aggravated felony convictions. President Donald Trump said Thursday that the 'threat against the faith community is over' as he signed an executive order in the White House Rose Garden protecting 'religious freedom.' Trump sought to further weaken enforcement of an IRS rule barring churches and tax-exempt groups from endorsing political candidates, with the long-anticipated executive order he said he'd sign on the campaign trail. As he marked a National Day of Prayer at the White House Thursday, Trump signed an executive order asking the IRS to use 'maximum enforcement discretion' over the regulation known as Johnson Amendment that applies to churches and nonprofits. ‘He wasn’t in pain and he had a nice final day’: Jeopardy! executive producer reveals Alex Trebek spent his final day on a swing in his backyard with his wife

The executive producer of Jeopardy! says beloved host Alex Trebek passed away painlessly after spending 'a nice final day' with his family, just like he always wanted. The 80-year-old quiz show host died early Sunday morning at his Los Angeles home following a battle with pancreatic cancer.  'He had a swing in his backyard that he loved. He actually rebuilt it earlier this year... Even in his book he described that he wanted his final day to be sitting on his swing next to his wife Jean and watching the horizon and he got to do that,' executive producer Mike Richards said to the Today Show Monday. 'He was coherent.
