A third woman has accused New York governor Andrew Cuomo of inappropriate behaviour, saying he touched her back and face and asked to kiss her moments after meeting at a wedding. A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a spate of fatal knife attacks on the New York subway over the weekend. Four people - all thought to be homeless - were stabbed, two fatally. Rigoberto Lopez was detained on Saturday night and formally arrested on Sunday on charges of murder and attempted murder. A man was found dead on a train in Queens on Friday night with stab wounds to his neck and torso, according to police. Two hours later a woman, 44, was found stabbed on a subway train in Manhattan, and she later died in hospital. A man and woman have been fined £10,000 each for failing to quarantine after returning from Dubai, police have said. Merseyside Police said fixed penalty notices for failing to comply with travel regulations were handed to two people from the Wirral after they avoided a direct flight back from the country, which is currently on the foreign travel red list , to one of the specified ports of entry required for quarantine. FRENCH actor Gérard Depardieu has spoken for the first time about being charged with raping and sexual abusing a young actress, saying: "I am innocent." The 72-year-old film star broke his silence on Thursday after Paris prosecutors confirmed he faced trial and prison for the attacks allegedly carried out at his £45million mansion in 2018 . "There is no proof, there is nothing against me and therefore I am very serene," Depardieu said in an interview in Italy’s La Repubblica. "I can only reject all the accusations as clearly as possible, as I’ve already done in front of the investigators."
