A HUSBAND poured boiling water over his wife after she woke him up with breakfast in bed, reports say. Ali Ay, 28, allegedly threw the scalding hot water over Rukiye Ay, 23, because he had "not been allowed to lie in." The shocking incident took place earlier this month in Konya, Turkey. Speaking on the horrific attack from hospital, Rukiye said that she wanted the breakfast treat as a "pleasant surprise." However, Ali didn't see it that way and instead flew into a rage when presented with the gesture. Rukiye then went on to detail the gruesome attack. She said: "I prepared it all and then went to tell my husband he had breakfast in bed. "He was angry and demanded to know why I woke him up, and told me not to bother him, so I started having breakfast with my daughter. "He came in still in a bad mood and told me he was going to divorce me and gain custody of our daughter no matter what I did. "He then poured boiling water down my neck. Mental health crisis a threat to the Philippine economy
The coronavirus sent Paul Dalmacio, 40, into a busy intensive care unit in Manila for 10 days. The severity of his case would keep him in the hospital for two months. That was a little over half a year ago. But a sense of relief has failed to come alongside his recovery. "I can't sleep every night. Sometimes I get flashbacks from the hospital," he said. Holly, 40, kicked off the subtle dig and said to Phil: "You know how Piers Morgan gets really wound up when we pick up the awards sometimes when we’ve both been nominated?" Phil quickly bragged: "Well, we always pick up the award!" as mum-of-three giggled in response. Referring to their segment on peas, Holly then added: "It's this sort of thing that I think puts us above the rest!" Dad-of-two Phil then made another dig about Good Morning Britain covering political topics on the show, and said: "Oh Piers, look what we’ve got!" as he gestured to a plate of peas. Piers, 55, later joined the pair on the show and the dup couldn't resist making more cheeky comments. Holly and Phil remarked … [Read more...] about Phil Schofield and Holly’s savage dig at Piers Morgan as they brag about awards
