Bizarre serial luggage thief busted by police and arrested thanks to Apple AirTag
A serial luggage thief was apprehended by authorities after an Apple AirTag tracked the bloke and the stolen luggage's movements. Giovanni De Luca, 19, was arrested following the smart bit of tracking kit tagged the baggage thief, with the Apple AirTag alerting its owner to the whereabouts of their items. Okaloosa County Sheriff's Office (OCSO) in Florida, United States , arrested the teenager after the agency's Airport Security Unit "became aware of suspicious activities" relating to a series of missing items. Mr Sarwar said the economic crisis was a national emergency like the Covid-19 pandemic and required a radical response. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon said "significant action" was already being taken. Both Mr Sarwar and Ms Sturgeon have warned that lives could be lost without more support.
