Glastonbury is returning to Worthy Farm after a fallow year, with Stormzy performing in the top slot on the Friday night. Stormzy has performed at the festival before, on The Other Stage, but it's safe to say this will be the biggest performance of the grime artist's career so far. That said not all festival-goers were impressed when he was announced as headliner, but Stormzy was quick to address his haters, saying people are "crazy" to think he'd ever perform a "mediocre" show at the festival. He's clearly got big plans and, as he's known he'd be headlining since last year, he's likely had time to line up a few special guests to go on stage with him. Here's some of the acts we think (and hope) might make an appearance on the Pyramid Stage. Lily Allen Lily Allen has been going to Glastonbury since she was a child, so we while she's not on the lineup this year we wouldn't be surprised if she's planning a visit to Pilton for the event. The singer - who recently wowed crowds at Love Saves … [Read more...] about These are the guests Stormzy could bring on stage at Glastonbury
While the lineup for Glastonbury Festival is as extensive and varied as ever this year, there's always room for a few more acts to grace the many stages. The secret sets are one of the many features which makes the festival so special. In recent years the likes of The Libertines, Radiohead and The Killers have all played unannounced gigs at the Somerset spectacular, with the latter putting on a legendary show on the John Peel Stage in 2017 before being named as headliners this time around. The most notable free spaces on the lineup this year are the "TBA" act on the John Peel Stage on Saturday (June 29) from 10.30pm - 11.45pm and on Saturday at The Park Stage from 6.15pm - 7.15pm. People have been busy speculating as to who those surprise bands and solo artists could be, from the probable to the more wishful. We've rounded up a list of acts who could be … [Read more...] about The acts who could perform secret sets at Glastonbury 2019
