BAKE Off has already seen the contestants step up to the plate with some amazing creations during Biscuit Week. And now we know that the next challenge will be bread. Here's what we can expect from next week's episode... What will happen in episode three of Bake Off? So next week will see the contestants take on the challenge of baking bread. Of course, it's easier said than done, so we'll have to be on the lookout for what Paul and Prue have in store for the remaining contestants because it's not going to be as simple as one might assume. At the end of the second episode on September 3, viewers were treated to quite the exhilarating preview. BAKE Off fans are chomping at the biscuit for the next series. And with last year seeing the first vegan challenge, many are wondering what's in store in this year's serving. Find out below for more... When is the Bake Off 2019 start date? Currently, The Great British Bake Off is expected to return to Channel 4 in August, but an official date has yet to be confirmed. Last year the hit show started on Tuesday, August 28, 2018, so if this year follows a similar format we could be looking at Tuesday, 27th August 2019 The show usually runs consecutively for ten weeks, so we can expect a similar format with this series. This would mean that the baking show will be on our screens until October - similarly to previous years. The show will be aired on Channel 4 for the third year running and we can expect it will stick to its usual airtime of 8pm. Nottingham's afternoon tea lovers can expect a show-stopper as the quintessential British tradition is given a makeover by Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown. The 2016 champion has designed a sumptuous spread of savoury and sweet treats for Afternoon Par-Tea, starting this Saturday, June 29, at the Village Hotel Club in Chilwell. The menu begins with mini brioches filled with creamy egg mayonnaise and spinach, a roasted sweet potato, chorizo and red pepper tart and prawn Marie rose with avocado served on crackers. Next comes a selection of show-stopper desserts, highlighting Candice’s winning creativity and flair in the kitchen. These include a mini Cornflake tart with lemon curd, chocolate and orange scones with jam and cream and rhubarb and custard profiteroles. It's just one month to go until top chefs and musical acts hit the stage at Pub in the Park. The festival has doubled in size this year and is coming to eight different locations in 2019 - including Warwick for the first time. Taking place between July 5 and 7 at St Nicholas Park, the festival is the place to be for anyone who likes eating food, cooking food, swigging drinks and boogying down to great live acts.
