THE August bank holiday nearly upon us which often means a trip to the supermarket. If you need to go to the shops, these are the Waitrose opening times for Britain’s next bank holiday. When is Waitrose open on bank holiday Monday? Most Waitrose stores will from 8am-8pm on bank holiday Monday (August 27). The majority of Little Waitrose shops will have normal Monday opening hours, as will all Shell and Welcome Break outlets. IKEA says it wouldn’t consider moving into the huge, empty Sainsbury’s store in Middlesbrough. Teesside Live has reported on the slow progress made at the site since the supermarket giant abandoned plans to move to the Middlehaven store in 2015.
