White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki mocks reporter who asked about 1k jobs lost after Biden cuts Keystone XL pipeline
WHITE House Press Jen Psaki has sparred with a Fox News reporter over thousands of projected job losses stemming from the President's executive action to cancel the Keystone XL oil pipeline. President Joe Biden revoked the permit for the 1,700-mile pipeline - that was supposed to carry oil from Canada to Texas - on his first day in office, ending a project that was expected to employ more than 11,000 Americans this year. The decision immediately left 1,000 people working on the pipeline in South Dakota on unemployment but Biden promised those affected would get "green jobs". Fox News White House Correspondent Peter Doocy raised the issue with Psaki during Monday afternoon's press briefing. "When is it that the Biden administration is going to let the thousands of fossil fuel industry workers, whether its pipeline workers or construction workers who are either out of work or will soon be out of work because of Biden’s EO, when it is and where it is that they can go for … [Read more...] about White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki mocks reporter who asked about 1k jobs lost after Biden cuts Keystone XL pipeline
White House is accused of hypocrisy after Jen Psaki admits deputy press secretary’s threats to ‘destroy’ reporter were ‘unacceptable’ – but refuses to fire him in line with Biden’s NO ‘harassment’ policy
The White House has been accused of hypocrisy after Jen Psaki said a one-week suspension was 'serious punishment' for TJ Ducklo for threatening to 'destroy' a reporter - despite Joe Biden vowing to fire 'on the spot' any aides that 'disrespect' other people. White House Press Secretary Psaki defended her decision to suspend the deputy press secretary for one week without pay during Friday's press briefing insisting it was an 'important step' to show his behavior was 'completely unacceptable'. Ducklo had called Politico reporter Tara Palmeri to say he would 'destroy' her over an article she was planning to write about his romance with Axios journalist Alexi McCammond. As well as the threat, the nature of his comments have also been slammed as sexist as he accused Palmeri of being jealous of McCammond because a past male wanted to 'f***' the Axios reporter instead of her. The incident took place on Inauguration Day but did not come to light until this week. The White House … [Read more...] about White House is accused of hypocrisy after Jen Psaki admits deputy press secretary’s threats to ‘destroy’ reporter were ‘unacceptable’ – but refuses to fire him in line with Biden’s NO ‘harassment’ policy

Joe Biden 's White House has put deputy press secretary TJ Ducklo on a one-week suspension without pay after he threatened a reporter who asked questions about his relationship with a journalist at Axios, telling her 'I will destroy you.' He accused her of being jealous of McCammond because a past male wanted to 'f***' the Axios reporter instead of her. The incident is raising questions about ethical standards at the White House, after Biden threatened to fire any staffer who treated people with disrespect. Football fans blast historian’s woke op-ed which claims Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ name is problematic for ‘romanticizing’ cutthroat pirates
Jamie L.H. Goodall, pictured, wrote about the 'problematic' Buccaneers name in the Washington Post Football fans have blasted a historian's woke op-ed which claims that the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' name is problematic for 'romanticizing' cutthroat pirates. Jamie L.H. Goodall, a staff historian at the U.S. Army Center of Military History, published her Washington Post op-ed on Friday ahead of Super Bowl LV, in which the Buccaneers faced off against the Kansas City Chiefs for the NFL championship. 'While this celebration of piracy seems like innocent fun and pride in a local culture, there is danger in romanticizing ruthless cutthroats who created a crisis in world trade when they captured and plundered thousands of ships on Atlantic trade routes,' Goodall wrote. But many readers hit out at the opinion piece, with former White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany blasting it as 'pathetic'. Goodall - who has a tattoo of a pirate on her arm - argued that the 'murderous thieves' … [Read more...] about Football fans blast historian’s woke op-ed which claims Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ name is problematic for ‘romanticizing’ cutthroat pirates
