THERESA May is currently struggling to find a way out of the current Brexit mess with MPs rejecting three times the withdrawal agreement - one option could be to stay in the single market. The most recent leave date of April 12 is fast approaching and the Prime Minister is running out of options. What is the EU single market? The European Union's single market is a trade agreement between all EU member states which allows free movement of goods, services, capital and people from one EU member country to another. This is why there is no limit on the number of EU migrants who can come to the UK or the number of Brits who can live in Spain, for example. Theresa May will be making stops in Berlin and Paris on Tuesday for last-minute talks with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President Emmanuel Macron. The Cooper-Letwin Bill means the prime minister will seek an extension to Article 50 with the aim of avoiding a no-deal Brexit - and that's what she will be trying to agree with EU leaders. But what happens if no extension is agreed? What is a no-deal Brexit? A no-deal break means Britain would immediately cease to be an EU member state and the 585-page Withdrawal Agreement would not apply.
