I love breakfast. There's something so cosy and comforting about a weekend morning spent grazing on a wide assortment of delicious nosh. Bread, butter, eggs, cheese, cured meats (don't forget the black pudding!) – many of life's most soul-nourishing foods are best suited to the breakfast table. Add a cup of coffee and a newspaper and that's my idea of heaven. I'm unashamedly a brekkie fanatic. The first thing I think about when I wake up is food; I can't function as a normal human being until there's at least some form of sustenance in my stomach.
