Some forecasters think the combination of snow and the arrival of wintry showers could cause some dramatic weather - in the form of thundersnow. Brain Gaze, director and forecaster for the Weather Outlook told The Sun Online: "I would expect the showers to bring a wintry mix, therefore rain, hail, sleet and snow are all possible, as is thunder during the heavier ones."
