In Mid Norfolk, there is less evidence of election fever taking hold. The constituency is traditionally a safe Conservative seat and the recent county council election results, where the party asserted total dominance of the area, would suggest little will change that. Even in the Tony Blair years there was a Conservative MP representing the market towns and villages of Mid Norfolk.
