May 26, 2022 by www.thesun.co.uk

A TARGET superfan has revealed the exact time it's best to shop in-store and the three huge benefits that come along with it. QuerySprout founder Marques Thomas opened up on his consumer help website about a major tip on how to find discount deals and have the most pleasant experience at the popular busy retail chain. The Target superfan suggests the ideal time to shop at the big-box department store chain is between the early hours of 8am and 10 am from Monday to Friday. Shopping during that two-hour time frame allows Target-goers to avoid crowds, get access to new clearance deals, and have more products to choose from as stock availability is at its prime, according to the consumer advocate. Fewer crowds The quietest time to spend time in Target is during the recommended two-hour time slot, between 8am and 10am, QuerySprout explains. Gunman kills 19 children, 2 teachers in US school shooting

May 25, 2022 by www.stuff.co.nz

The 18-year-old gunman who slaughtered 19 children and two teachers at a Texas elementary school barricaded himself inside a single classroom and “began shooting anyone that was in his way”, authorities said Wednesday (local time) when detailing the latest mass killing to rock the US . Law enforcement officers eventually broke into the classroom and killed the gunman, who used an AR-style rifle. Police and others responding to Tuesday’s attack also went around breaking windows at the school to enable students and teachers to escape, Lt Christopher Olivarez of the Texas Department of Public Safety said on NBC’s Today show. Olivarez told CNN that all the victims were in the same fourth-grade classroom at Robb Elementary. The killer "barricaded himself by locking the door and just started shooting children and teachers that were inside that classroom”, he said. "It just shows you the complete evil of the shooter.” READ MORE: 'The sweetest little boy': US school shooting … [Read more...] about Gunman kills 19 children, 2 teachers in US school shooting

Surrounded by fellow Republicans on a high school stage, Texas Governor Greg Abbott was wrapping up his opening remarks about the mass shooting of school children and teachers in Uvalde, when Beto O'Rourke strode forward from his seat in the audience. “Governor Abbott, I have something to say," the Democrat challenging Abbott for his governor seat this year said on Wednesday, pointing a finger at his rival. "The time to stop the next shooting is right now, and you are doing nothing.” A mix of boos and cheers rose up from the crowd as the former congressman and 2020 presidential candidate briefly spoke, then was escorted from the room. Senator Ted Cruz, standing behind Abbott, shook his head and said “sit down” while one woman in the crowd chanted, “Let him speak.” Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin yelled that O'Rourke was a “sick son of a bitch”. Some people cried. And with that, the briefing transformed into an argument similar to the one happening in many corners of America after … [Read more...] about Beto O’Rourke interrupts briefing on Texas school shooting, echoes US debate on guns
