The new series of BBC motoring show Top Gear has got off to a roaring start with praise pouring in for the new presenters. New northern hosts Paddy McGuinness and Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff have impressed viewers as they joined automotive journalist Chris Harris, who previously presented the show with Friends star Matt Le Blanc and Rory Reid, who took over from radio and TV presenter Chris Evans. The show has seen different line-ups over the years following the departure of Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond in 2015. But fans think they've now found the right chemistry with former international cricketer Andrew from Preston, who played for Lancashire and England during his career, and Take Me Out host Paddy from Bolton, who shot to fame in Phoenix Nights and Max and Paddy’s Road to Nowhere. JEREMY Clarkson is a household name, best known for presenting Top Gear from 2002 to 2015 and The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime. But he isn't just on the telly - he's a writer too and also pens weekly columns for The Sun and The Sunday Times. Here is the lowdown on him... How old is Jeremy Clarkson? Jeremy was born on April 11, 1960, in Doncaster, West Riding of Yorkshire. That makes him 58. His mum, Shirley, was a teacher and his dad, Edward, was a travelling salesman. Jeremy didn't grow up overly wealthy. Although his parents put their son's name down in advance for private schools, they had no way of actually paying the tuition fees. They managed to raise the funds for Jeremy's schooling by selling Paddington Bear stuffed toys through their tea cosy business. However, Jeremy hated school and has previously said it made him a "suicidal wreck". He says he was expelled for "drinking, smoking and generally making a nuisance of himself". OH TOW! If you passed your test after 1997 you could … [Read more...] about What is Jeremy Clarkson’s net worth, who is he dating and is he hosting Who Wants To Be A Millionaire?
Erin Jensen USA TODAY Published 9:28 AM EDT Apr 9, 2019 Rosie O'Donnell is wishing she didn't give "Ladies Who Punch" author Ramin Setoodeh her point of "View." The book (released on April 2) documents alleged feuds on ABC's long-running morning program, which premiered in 1997. O'Donnell, a co-host on "The View" from 2006-2007 and 2014-2015, spoke candidly to Setoodeh, Variety’s New York Bureau Chief. She revealed she was sexually abused by her father, that she had "a little bit of a crush" on former colleague Elisabeth Hasselbeck and described working with Whoopi Goldberg as "The worst experience I've ever had on live television." "My biggest regret was ever sitting down with (Setoodeh) for 20 minutes, and that’s exactly what I did to appease my publicist," O'Donnell said to Us Weekly at Sunday's opening of "Oklahoma!" in New York City. “But it’s my biggest regret.” In a statement issued to USA TODAY Tuesday by St. … [Read more...] about ‘The View’ alum Rosie O’Donnell regrets ‘Ladies Who Punch’ interview
