SAVVY shopper Amy-Rose Grenside has made £1,600 in the last three years by collecting receipts and turning them into cash. The 31-year-old uploads her receipts to free reward apps like Receipt Hog and Shoppix and exchanges them for offers, freebies and cashback. Amy-Rose, who lives in Southampton, first found out about the money-making technique from MoneySavingExpert's coupon kid Jordon Cox - and now makes £533 a year on average. She told The Sun: “I was watching TV and Jordan was speaking about couponing in the UK and how to make money from old receipts. “It inspired me to try it out myself. It definitely requires a bit of organisation but it is quite easy to do. It wasn't until after Christmas when the woman's niece tried to redeem the card that it became clear something was wrong. According to a class-action lawsuit filed Monday in federal court, the Springfield woman had fallen victim to a common scam.
