Tyson Fury flew to Iceland to provoke Hafthor Bjornsson in the hope he would confront him face-to-face. Accompanied by his father John, they took to the streets of the Nordic nation hoping to find the actor and strongman. However, their efforts were in vain as they discovered the 33-year-old is in Rome filming a movie. This morning, the WBC heavyweight champion posted a clip to social media in which he announced his arrival in Bjornsson’s home country. Fury began by posting a clip at the airport on his Instagram story: “Do you know where we are guys? Iceland. And you know what we’re doing here? We’re looking for Thor. Come out and fight like a man.” Not long later, he posted a clip from outside Thor’s gym after finding out he is currently abroad and invited him to come and find him in the UK. Tyson Fury’s ‘new trainer’ lost last two fights – including on Gypsy King undercard
Tyson Fury is coming out of a very short-lived retirement to try and egg Derek Chisora into the ring - and has a new trainer to help get him ready. Isaac Lowe has long been a close pal of the Gypsy King, though his own track record is far from perfect. A featherweight fighter, the 28-year-old is set to sit in Fury's corner when he returns to the ring. Oleksandr Usyk open to fighting Tyson Fury and Canelo Alvarez if he beats Anthony Joshua
World heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk is eyeing future bouts against Tyson Fury and Canelo Alvarez if he defeats Anthony Joshua in their rematch in Saudi Arabia later this month. Back in September, Joshua was comfortably outclassed as the Ukrainian took his WBA, WBO, IBO and IBF world titles in front of 65,000 fans at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Usyk stunned Joshua on a number of occasions and was simply too fast for the Brit, landing a number of impressive hits to win unanimously on points. Joshua will look to reclaim his titles when he faces the Ukrainian at the Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia on August 20 - but Usyk appears to already have one eye on the future. The 35-year-old has become one of the biggest names in boxing over the last few years, and has won world titles in two divisions.
