A TRAVELLER mum has thrown her 10-year-old daughter a party so that she can meet her future husband. Lee Ann, from Philadelphia, brought shame upon her family when she married non-traveller Joe and is now trying to get back in their good books with daughter Mary. The mum is keen for her daughter to find a “good gypsy boy” to settle down with, but Mary is torn between what her mum and dad want for her. Speaking on TLC’s Gypsy Brides US, Mary says: “They argue about it a lot. “My mum wants me to clean and have children and take care of them. HAVEN has announced that they will be opening from April 12, following the government lockdown announcment. Boris Johnson confirmed in the Monday announcement that self-catered UK holidays could restart from April 12. While this is only for one household - going up to two households on May 17 - it is great new for families wanting to get a holiday booked . Haven said in a statement: "Following the Government announcement earlier this week with regards to the roadmap out of lockdown measures, we can confirm that our parks will remain closed in England until Monday 12 April. "We are however, delighted that the roadmap has considered self-contained accommodation to reopen at Stage two and we look forward to welcoming many families to enjoy a coastal break that we pride ourselves on from the 12 April across our parks in England." RISHI Sunak could slash tax on pints in next week's budget, Boris Johnson hinted yesterday. The PM was urged by MPs to consider giving pubs a boost by slicing their tax and slapping them on supermarket drinks instead. Brits have flocked to supermarket giants to get their hands on booze throughout the pandemic, but boozers have been closed for several months . The Treasury undertook a review on alcohol duty last year, and is mulling over the findings. Changes to alcohol duty could boost pub sales by 100 million pints a year and stop thousands of pubs closing their doors for good this year, the Social Market Foundation said last week. They urged him to add 14p to a supermarket can and slash 36p off the price of a pint down the pub. SHOPPERS can get up to £10 off their purchases with free Nectar card points through its app. The loyalty trick was revealed by Martin Lewis in his latest MoneySavingExpert newsletter. A Nectar card lets you earn points on shopping with brands such as Sainsbury's, Argos Esso, eBay, Café Nero and Vue but it also offers exclusive offers and discounts through its app. The points are worth different amounts depending on which retailer you collect them from and spend them. Usually, customers collect one loyalty point for every £1 at Sainsbury's, which is worth 0.5p when you redeem it in store.
