A TEENAGER with no underlying health conditions has died after testing positive for Covid. The 17-year-old was one of 279 people who died from coronavirus in the past 24 hours. The deaths bringing the total number of confirmed fatalities in hospitals in England to 83,529 The patients were aged between 17 and 102 years old. All except 11 of them - aged 17 to 89 years old - had underlying health conditions. Firefighters were in tears and turned their backs on a senior commander at a debrief as they sought answers from senior officers about why they had not been deployed to the scene of the Manchester Arena attack, the inquiry has heard. The inquiry was told that a tearful paramedic approached firefighters and asked why they were "just stood around" at a fire station a mile from the attack . Group Manager Alan Topping, duty command support officer on the night of the attack, told the inquiry that firefighters were ashamed and emotional in the aftermath of the attack in which the service did not arrive at the scene until two hours after the explosion. The officer, who had 29 years of experience, is the first who was present on the ground to give evidence to the inquiry and said that by the time firefighters arrived it was too late to help. It looks like Banksy may have been in action once again, with an artwork in his signature style appearing on the side of a former prison in Reading. Depicting an inmate escaping down the side of the wall on a rope made of bedsheets, and tied to a typewriter, the painting was created overnight on Sunday at the former HM Prison in Reading, Berkshire , which closed in 2014. There are suggestions the Banksy -esque mural could be of one of the jail's most famous inmates, the poet and playwright Oscar Wilde, who was sentenced to two years after being convicted of gross indecency in 1895. It has drawn crowds since it was first spotted on Monday morning, but has not yet been claimed officially. A 21-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder following a spate of fatal knife attacks on the New York subway over the weekend. Four people - all thought to be homeless - were stabbed, two fatally. Rigoberto Lopez was detained on Saturday night and formally arrested on Sunday on charges of murder and attempted murder. A man was found dead on a train in Queens on Friday night with stab wounds to his neck and torso, according to police. Two hours later a woman, 44, was found stabbed on a subway train in Manhattan, and she later died in hospital. THIS is the shocking moment an MMA fighter's leg snapped under him after taking a brutal kick. Aussie fighters Dean Maxwell and Randall Ray were battling it out at Urban Fight Night 24 in Sydney when the freak accident occurred. With a heavyweight title belt on the line, the scrappers were happy to size each other up in the opening few seconds of the fight. But that all changed after just 20 seconds. Ray launched a fairly innocuous kick into the calf of Maxwell which he failed to dodge. It didn't appear to cause any issues until Maxwell put his weight on his right leg. Suddenly the bone shattered under him and Maxwell collapsed to the canvas screaming in agony.
