PIERS Morgan has lashed out at complaining celebrities - ordering whinging stars to "get a grip". The 56-year-old former Good Morning Britain star launched a blistering attack today saying: "The woe-is-me crap is so disingenuous." Piers, who has slated everyone from Sam Smith to Meghan Markle in recent months, posted a rant on Twitter this morning. He wrote: "Is there any danger of a celebrity giving an interview in which they don’t play the victim but actually tell us how grateful they are to be hugely successful, rich & famous? "The ‘woe-is-me’ crap is so disingenuous and so utterly exhausting. Just get a grip all of you." One follower agreed: "Totallly agree, I’m sure it’s very difficult to not have privacy but it’s a lot harder to work 9-5 for £80 a day! ELON Musk is just a week away from hosting Saturday Night Live - but it appears he's struggling for material. The Tesla CEO, 49, took to Twitter on Saturday to ask for skit ideas and try out some jokes on internet strangers. Tech billionaire Musk tweeted: "Throwing out some skit ideas for SNL. What should I do?" He then floated the joke: "Baby Shark & Shark Tank merge to form Baby Shark Tank" and "Irony Man - defeats villains using the power of irony". It comes amid claims the SNL cast have been told they will not need to act alongside Musk, the self-proclaimed "Dogefather", if they feel uncomfortable. NBC announced last week that Musk would be hosting the show on May 8, a decision that reportedly left some of the SNL cast upset. Diplomats at the World Trade Organization on Monday appointed Nigeria's Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala to lead the Geneva-based body, becoming the first woman and first African to do so. The 66-year-old has taken over the reins of the WTO, which helps set the rules for global trade between its 164 member countries. Her predecessor, Roberto Azevedo, stepped down on August 31, a year before his term expired, to take a job in the private sector. Okonjo-Iweala said tackling the economic fallout from the coronavirus pandemic would be her top priority when she takes up the post in March. Dozens of armed groups have operated for years in the Democratic Republic of Congo's (DRC) North Kivu and Ituri provinces, and civilians have been subjected to horrifying massacres. Armed militias and inter-communal violence have killed more than 300 people so far in 2021. Presidential spokesman Tharsice Kasongo Mwema said on Tuesday that the two provinces would be declared under siege for 30 days starting on Thursday May 6. "To respond to the situation during the state of siege, the provincial governments of Ituri and North Kivu ... will be replaced by offices of the armed forces of the DRC or the national police," he said.
