HOLLYOAKS' Denise Welch has told fans to expect a very "dark, narcissistic" side to newcomer Trish Minniver. The Loose Women panellist, 62, has joined the Channel 4 soap as the mother of Maxine Minniver, who has already been causing trouble for her daughter. AJ and Curtis Pritchard are set to join Hollyoaks for their first acting role as twin brothers, it has been reported. The professional dancers, who first garnered fame on Strictly Come Dancing and Love Island, respectively, are set to appear on screen in the coming weeks. AJ, 26, and Curtis, 24, will play twin brothers who help open a dance school along with fellow newcomer Trish Minniver, who is played by Denise Welch. A source told The Sun : "It’s an unlikely move by the brothers but they’re up for trying new things. “It was an idea mooted a little while ago and both parties seemed keen, so they’ve made it happen. “AJ and Curtis are thick as thieves, and look identical, so playing a pair of twin brothers will be no issue at all." They added that the brothers are hoping that their appearance will help show a different side of them that viewers haven't already seen. SIBLING telly duo AJ Pritchard and brother Curtis are joining soap Hollyoaks, The Sun can reveal. The former Strictly Come Dancing star and Love Island hunk have agreed to appear in the long-running Channel 4 show and will appear on screen in the coming weeks. The Sun understands AJ, 26, has already filmed his first scenes on the Chester-based programme, and Curtis, 24, will follow suit in the coming days. They will play a pair of on-screen twin brothers who will be involved in the grand opening of a dance school run by returning character Trish Minniver, last seen in 2012. Trish will now be played by Loose Women panellist and former Corrie star DENISE WELCH.
