I’m a plus size traveller and National Express coach seats are so cramped it left me BRUISED
A PLUS size traveller has gone viral on TikTok for slamming National Express after she was left bruised by their "cramped" seats. Kirsty Leanne, 29, from Shropshire, recently shared a video of her experience on the coach service which she described as “very uncomfortable” – despite booking a seat with extra leg room. The incident has since left social media users divided. Kirsty previously made headlines after sharing her experience flying on Ryan Air , where she complained about the seat sizes. I’m a travel expert and there are hotel rooms you should NEVER book
AN expert has revealed the two kinds of hotel rooms you should never book next time you are on holiday. The advice will mean you get a much better night's sleep and won't be disturbed by noisy people. Martin Seeley, CEO and sleep expert at MattressNextDay , explained: "When booking your room, consider requesting a room that’s on a higher level as that way you’re less likely to be disturbed by street-level noise, or noises coming from the hotel’s lobby or bar. "You should also make sure to request a room that’s away from the lift, as this is also prone to making noise that can keep you awake." So if you find yourself in a room on the ground floor, next to the lift - expect a noisy night ahead. However, don't go too high - a safety expert has said you should never go above the fourth floor. Dems push Biden on domestic flight vaccine mandate as millions plan to travel for holidays
As millions of Americans prepare to travel during the holiday season, several Democratic lawmakers are pushing for President Joe Biden to require passengers on domestic flights to either provide proof of vaccination or produce a negative COVID-19 test to prevent a "devastating winter surge" in cases. In a letter to the president dated Thursday, the lawmakers--among them Reps. Ritchie Torres, Jerrold Nadler and Ted Lieu --believe such a requirement would reduce the chances of a potential coronavirus surge, which occurred in 2020 when cases skyrocketed around major winter holidays. They cited the Biden administration's requirement for international travelers to be vaccinated before entering the United States, praising it as "critical to reducing COVID-19 transmission risk for passengers, crewmembers, and U.S. destination communities." Now they are calling on Biden to "apply similar strategies" to domestic flights. "Many Americans remain reluctant to spending extended … [Read more...] about Dems push Biden on domestic flight vaccine mandate as millions plan to travel for holidays

There’s a Google Street View feature that lets you travel back in time
Sometimes it would be nice to just wind back the clock. Right back to the days when the M25 was a little quieter or when the Walkie Talkie building in London wasn’t melting cars. Nostalgia can be a beautiful thing. Google has released a secret Harry Potter game for Android The great news is that there is actually a feature to do this on Google Street View , but many of us simply didn’t realise it was there. All you need to do to travel back in time, is select a sight on Street View, then click on the clock button in the top left corner of the screen. The clock will open up a small window showing all the available historical imagery for that scene – dating all the way back to 2007. The feature, which was launched in April 2014, is perfect for looking back at what your old house looked like or perhaps a park where you used to sit until it got developed into a superstore.
