‘Silent order forced me to shoot two brothers dead while they were trapped in my boot’
Sexually abused as a child, Brandon Hutchinson turned to booze and drugs to help him cope with his childhood trauma. Despite being a father to two young boys while still in his teens, Hutchinson was desperate to escape his destructive life and moved from California and Missouri when he was 19. It was a decision that would lead to the murder of two brothers and their killer spending the rest of his days behind bars. Hutchinson is one of the killers featured in Crime+Investigation's I Am A Killer after he shot brothers Ronald and Brian Yates following a row at a New Year's Eve party. The killer has never revealed why he gunned down the two men, who were badly injured and locked in a car boot, until now. The Ashes: Jofra Archer can flatten Australia with chin music – and kill them softly with words
JOFRA ARCHER can flatten them with his chin music, then kill them softly with his words. England’s new strike-bowling sensation has already proved himself in the heat of Ashes battle by concussing Aussie run machine Steve Smith at Lord’s then seizing a six-wicket haul at Headingley. But after Ben Stokes propelled England to a miraculous one-wicket victory in Leeds on Sunday, Archer has now proved he can play a leading role in the war of words, too. On a rest day at his home ground of Hove, 24-year-old Archer can be seen zipping around on his electric scooter then heard delivering some barbs at the Australians in his languid Caribbean tone. After laughing at the “terrible” Aussie sledging and accusing them of panicking during Stokes’ extraordinary 76-run final-wicket partnership with Jack Leach, Archer spelt out how Tim Paine’s men will be forced to change their gameplan in next week’s Fourth Test at Old Trafford. Archer said: “In the … [Read more...] about The Ashes: Jofra Archer can flatten Australia with chin music – and kill them softly with words
Rashford rocket sinks Chelsea to extend Manchester United’s resurgence
There have been few moments to match this level of fantasy from Manchester United in recent times. This is a club whose identity is built around turning impossible dreams into unforgettable realities but too many players have looked uncomfortable wearing that famous red shirt of late. The modern United have been too safe, too bland, and they have put out too many sides without the courage to deliver under pressure. Not this time, though. This time there was magic. It materialised when Marcus Rashford, who turns 22 on Thursday, stood over a free-kick in the 73rd minute and decided to try his luck from 30 yards. Lesser players might not have had the confidence but Rashford trusted in his technique and produced something special, stunning Stamford Bridge with a rocket that wobbled through the air and flew into the top corner. “A bolt out of the blue,” Frank Lampard said. “No team can stop that.” Chelsea’s manager was right but Rashford’s individual … [Read more...] about Rashford rocket sinks Chelsea to extend Manchester United’s resurgence
