CONOR BENN made an emphatic return to the ring tonight, knocking out Chris van Heerden in the second round of their Manchester clash. Benn started the fight fast but got caught with a couple shots himself. Former UK prime minister Tony Blair could face war crimes charges as a result of the long-anticipated Chilcot report into the 2003 invasion of Iraq, a Liberal Democrat peer told the House of Lords on Tuesday. Speaking in the wake of the decision that private conversations between Blair and former US president George W Bush should be included in the report, Lord Dykes of Harrow Weald claimed that the delay of its publication was a deliberate attempt to "prolong the agony" of the former Labour prime minister. According to the Telegraph newspaper, Lord Dykes, who became a Liberal Democrat peer in 1997, asked the House of Lords: "Is not this continuing delay an utter and total disgrace and so much time has elapsed? Is my noble friend aware that more and more people think it is some kind of attempt to prolong the agony of Mr Blair facing possible war crimes charges?" Tony Ferguson has taken a sensational shot at Daniel Cormier by accusing the former UFC two-weight champion of taking cocaine. The two conducted a volatile interview before Ferguson's clash with Michael Chandler at UFC 274 last weekend. The bout ended with Ferguson, 38, needing hospital treatment after being KO'd by a savage front kick from Chandler . The ill-feeling between the pair stems from Cormier, 43, being a teammate of Ferguson's long-time rival, former UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov . UFC fan favourite Tony Ferguson has bravely admitted to being frightened over the memory loss that followed his nauseating knock-out defeat by the foot of Michael Chandler at UFC 274 on Saturday (May 7) in Arizona. The former Interim UFC Lightweight Champion put in a fine first-round performance but was left passed out on the canvas following an unexpected front-kick from the former title challenger in the following round. Ferguson has now taken to Instagram to react to his latest defeat, his fourth from four bouts after a 12 fight win streak, with a worrying update over his memory of the night. TONY FERGUSON has been slapped with a medical suspension following his brutal loss to Michael Chandler. The former interim lightweight champion was on the receiving end of a highlight-reel knockout in the second round of his return at UFC 274. A picture-perfect front kick from Chandler knocked Ferguson out cold and momentarily left his face looking disfigured. And the Arizona Boxing and MMA Commission has handed the fan favourite a 60-day suspension following the first stoppage loss of his career. Ferguson, 38, won't be able to compete or take part in any contact training unless he receives clearance from a doctor.
