Brazen Dortmund ultras set off ‘industrial strength’ fireworks outside Man City team hotel at 2.45am, 4.30am and 5.30am

MANCHESTER CITY players were given a rude awakening throughout the night as fans in Germany exploded fireworks outside their hotel. In comes as the Premier League champions take a 2-1 lead into the away leg of their Champions League quarter-final with Borussia Dortmund. Witnesses heard 'incredible bangs' which awoke residents and members of Pep Guardiola's travelling squad at the Radisson Blu in Dortmund. According to the Daily Mail , a gang of 17 ultras set off the first batch of 'industrial strength' fireworks at 2.45am which sparked City's security staff to patrol the area. Then at 4.30am around half a dozen of the group returned and set off a second explosion in a different area near the hotel, again waking up those inside. Police were called to inspect the incidents, but it is claimed City's security were forced to foil a THIRD attempt at 5.30am. PSG fans got their own back on Barcelona after setting off fireworks outside their hotel at 4am. The French champions in February were given a rude awakening as Barca supporters tried to stop of Ligue 1 champions from sleeping. It clearly didn't work, as PSG left Spain with a 4-1 advantage, with superstar Kylian Mbappe scoring three of those vital away goals. Barca have it all to do and matters may be worse now after PSG fans returned the favour with a fireworks display in the earlier hours of the morning. It was the latest in attempts from supporters to put off the LaLiga giants, as a section of sick fans held up a Shakira ‘prostitute’ banner. Denmark has d ecided to officially stop using the AstraZeneca vaccine altogether, becoming the first European country to do so. It was the first to cease administering the shot after initial suspicions of a connection with the rare types of blood clots found in some of the vaccine's recipients. Other countries at the time followed suit, however, many have returned to using the vaccine only for older people. Hamas chief assassination: Hunt for second female suspect in Dubai hit

A second woman was involved in the assassination of a top Hamas official in a Dubai hotel, detectives believe. She is one of SIX new suspects. Investigators now reckon up to 17 agents may have taken part in the suspected Israeli plot. Newly released CCTV footage shows her apparently staking out the hotel on the night of the murder with her face partially hidden under a large sun hat. A man alongside her also has his features concealed by a hat. The news emerged as Gordon Brown promised a probe into how six of the gang had fake UK passports. The Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca) - headed by ex-MI5 chief Sir Stephen Lander - will lead the investigation.
