Broadchurch star Sarah Parish has spoken of her pain after losing her daughter at eight months old and how it inspired her to start her own charity. In 2009 she and her husband, the actor James Murray, lost their daughter Ella-Jayne to a congenital heart defect and in the aftermath of her death spent two months working on an orphanage in Cambodia. In 2014 they set up the Murray Parish Trust, dedicated to advancing paediatric emergency medicine in the south of England. Working with another local charity, they've succeeded in raising over £2.5 million for Southampton University Hospital, which the government matched and it paid for a new children's emergency and trauma department. Sarah says that before the death of her daughter she had a 'very easy life', but the harrowing experience has 'made me a better person'. A killer tiger could have caused "multiple fatalities" at a zoo after gates to a public area were left open for up to 80 minutes, a report has found. Keeper Rosa King, 33, was mauled to death by eight-year-old Malayan tiger Cicip as she cleaned his enclosure at Hamerton Zoo in Cambridgeshire. Before her death she had opened two gates - meaning the tiger had access to visiting families and children for a lengthy period of time. The enclosure was only secured after a member of the public spotted Rosa's bloodied body. Assistant Coroner Nicholas Moss said it was "largely by chance" that members of the public including young children were not killed. He has written a Prevention of Future Deaths report calling for Defra and the HSE to provide clearer guidance on "airlock" gates for zoos. A father-of-two was left disappointed with his all-day breakfast sandwich which he had purchased from Aldi after opening it to reveal a meagre filling inside. Joel Turner bought a sandwich from one of the supermarket's stores in Stroud, Gloucestershire. The all-day breakfast triple pack was advertised as offering three different sandwich combinations - bacon and egg, sausage and egg as well as bacon, sausage and egg.
