Woman shows off hilarious online shopping fail as ‘Slender Man’ tracksuit bottoms are so long they come up to her HEAD

· April 14, 2021 ·

VIEWERS were shocked and horrified by this woman’s hilarious online shopping disaster. After ordering a pair of tracksuit bottoms on AliExpress, Tiktok user Levi got a lot more than she bargained for. Before noticing the full length of the trackies, Levi says that they look "lovely". Holding the joggers up to her body, Levi shows that they come all the way up to her head. Levi says that she’s around 5’7”, so the joggers are insanely long. Most commenters found the video absolutely hilarious. “I am absolutely p***ing myself”, said one viewer. Another wrote, “I just snort laughed watching this. Brilliant”, while a third commented, “Oh wow I wasn’t expecting that. Laughed hard at that”. Some, however, pointed out that the joggers were meant to be “stacked”, meaning that they should be gathered at the ankle. This, they said, was why the tracks had so much extra fabric. “They’re stacked joggers so when you put them on the ends should ruffle up and look … [Read more...] about Woman shows off hilarious online shopping fail as ‘Slender Man’ tracksuit bottoms are so long they come up to her HEAD

How PrettyLittleThing boss Umar Kamani went from being expelled from school to billionaire playboy

· December 11, 2019 ·

WITH his love of designer clothes and private planes, Umar Kamani is every inch the jet-setting playboy. He rubs shoulders with the likes of Will.i.am and Jennifer Lopez , drives a fleet of supercars and holidays in exotic places. Not bad for a lad who was expelled from school and grew up in a house crammed with 18 family members. Umar, 31, is a member of the founding family behind PrettyLittleThing - part of the BooHoo group - the online clothing retailer that started life as a simple market stall and is now a big name in the fashion trade. While high street stores such as Debenhams, New Look and Marks & Spencer have seen sales plunge, BooHoo has bucked the trend. In the first half of this year it reported a hefty 43 per cent rise. The Manchester-based firm specialises in fast, cheap fashion for tweens and 20-somethings and is worth £3.8billion. Its executive chairman, Umar’s dad Mahmud, and his business partner Carol Kane — who started the business in 2006 … [Read more...] about How PrettyLittleThing boss Umar Kamani went from being expelled from school to billionaire playboy

Luther’s lack of black friends ‘doesn’t feel authentic’, BBC diversity chief says

· April 14, 2021 ·

TV detective Luther "doesn't feel authentic" because he has no black friends and doesn't eat Caribbean food, a BBC diversity boss has suggested. Idris Elba plays detective Luther in the critically-acclaimed BBC drama of the same name, which has ran for five seasons since 2010. Elba was praised by BBC creative diversity chief Miranda Wayland for playing a "really strong, black character lead" during the MIPTV conference on Wednesday. She added though that by the second series, she was questioning the character's authenticity. Ms Wayland said that TV bosses must ensure that black characters are supported by an environment and culture that is "absolutely reflective" of their background. Advertisement She said: "When it first came out, everybody loved the fact that Idris Elba was in there. A really strong, black character lead. We all fell in love with Luther. Who didn't, right? "But after you got into about the second series, you were kind of … [Read more...] about Luther’s lack of black friends ‘doesn’t feel authentic’, BBC diversity chief says
