They say in heavyweight boxing one punch can change a career. It wasn't quite one punch for Andy Ruiz, but the Mexican-American caused a sporting boilover on Sunday (NZT), stopping Anthony Joshua to claim heavyweight gold. Ruiz was a 45-1 underdog with some of the bookies on Las Vegas, but put those predictions to shame with a career-defining performance. OTI Mabuse is one of the judges on new BBC dance series The Greatest Dancer and a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing. Here's the story of how the South African became one of the jewels in the BBC crown. Who is Oti Mabuse, how old is she and what is her background? Oti Mabuse is a 28-year-old professional dancer who rose to fame on Strictly Come Dancing. She was born in Pretoria, South Africa and unlike many of the Strictly family, Oti did not start her path to professional dancing from a young age. Oti studied civil engineering at university before embarking on a career in professional dancing, following in the footsteps of her sister Motsi - nine years her senior - who is a professional ballroom dancer.
