Sir Trevor McDonald will be taking over as the big floating head in Channel 4’s reboot of the GamesMaster TV show. Last month, we learned the identities of the three new hosts for the upcoming GamesMaster reboot. But the titular GamesMaster remained a mystery. There were rumours that Patrick Stewart would play the role , but it has now been revealed to be a different knight of the realm: Sir Trevor McDonald. Replacing the late Sir Patrick Moore (who played the role in its original six-year run), McDonald is joining Frankie Ward, Rab Florence, and Ty Logan. There still isn’t any footage of the show yet so we don’t know what McDonald looks like as the big robotic head. Assumedly, his segments will be pre-recorded, as in the original show. Australia’s Great Barrier Reef (GBR) is in great condition. But the legacy media aren’t reporting this good news. The GBR is made up of approximately 3,000 reefs covering an area nearly the size of California off Australia’s eastern coast. The condition of its coral is frequently referenced as an indicator of the reef’s health, regularly in an attempt to connect it with the supposed damage global warming is doing to the planet. The reef now has more coral than at any other time since records began in 1986, according to  the Australian Institute of Marine Science (AIMS). There is roughly 20% more coral on the GBR than last year, which itself equaled a previous record year. All three major regions of the reef now have excellent coral cover and AIMS states that two regions are at record breaking high levels. As of the latest 2022 survey of the GBR, coral covered 34% of the seabed, double the lowest coverage recorded in 2012. Documents just being revealed show that American pediatricians have slammed the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) for pushing puberty-blocking drugs for teens who claim they are a different gender. Furious pediatricians who are members of the AAP accused the AAP of changing its rules so that Resolution 27, which proposed a “rigorous systematic review” of the AAP’s 2018 gender policy, was blocked. The proposed resolution did not advance at the AAP leadership conference in Chicago last weekend, the only resolution affected by new procedural rules the AAP set up earlier this year. A teacher in Sacramento, California , was paid out a stunning $190,000 to resign from his post after an investigation found that he used his position to push his own political beliefs, including his admiration for Antifa and communism, on his students. Gabriel Gipe made waves in 2021 when guerrilla journalism organization Project Veritas released video of the teacher admitting that he tried to turn his students into “revolutionaries” and offered extra credit for attending far-left Antifa events. The Natomas Unified School District found that Gipe had committed “clear violations of political activity” in the classroom, KCRA 3 News reported this week. Five students from Texas Christian University have been charged after allegedly lying to police about what happened to 19-year-old Jack Elliott on October 14, 2019. On that fateful day, Elliott fell off of a boat the students were using on Lake Travis outside of Austin, Texas, Fox News reported . The students had been boating when they heard a commotion and realized Elliott was not on the boat. They felt a bump and could not see Elliot in the water, turning the boat around to look for him before returning to shore. The students reportedly tossed the alcohol they had on board before docking and calling the police. A California teacher faces an official investigation after videos surfaced of her detailing the removal of the American flag from her classroom. In one video, she said that she told a student that he could pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag instead. The teacher, identified as Kristen Pitzen by Fox News, teaches in the Newport-Mesa Unified School District, in Orange County, California.
