Today in Europe people have already forgotten the terrorist attacks of a couple of years earlier and are living their lives obliviously. European cities including important capitals like Paris, Brussels and Berlin had to learn what terror meant with great losses and sadness in the past few years. I have experienced firsthand how life changed instantly in Brussels and Belgium in general following terrorist attacks that killed innocent people. Brussels had to live under emergency state conditions for weeks. In the streets and alleys, armored military vehicles and heavily armed military patrols became a part of daily life. Heavily armored soldiers are still on duty in Brussels. Paris too experienced the same. Thanks to Turkey's total war against terror, today life is peaceful in European cities. Due to Turkey's determined struggle, Daesh is almost annihilated. However, terror is not over. Fighters from Daesh that have escaped are still threatening humanity by joining terrorist organizations … [Read more...] about Will the ‘terror lovers’ in Europe ever come to their senses?
Terror attacks in europe
The threat from terrorism is still high in the EU, a report from the police agency Europol said Thursday. Although there have been fewer attacks in 2018 than last year, more attempts by terrorist groups have been disrupted than the year before, the report added. Terrorist attacks killed 13 people in the EU in 2018 and all the perpetrators were terrorists, Europol said. The increase in arrests of right-wing extremists in the EU from 20 in 2017 to 44 last year "indicates that extremists of diverging orientation increasingly consider violence as a justified means of confrontation," the report added. EU member states reported 129 terrorist attacks in 2018, of which 24 failed or were foiled - a decrease from 205 attacks in 2017. Separatists or ethno-nationalists alone carried out or attempted 83 attacks last year making them the biggest group of perpetrators, the report said. … [Read more...] about Terrorism threat in Europe still high, Europol says
With the Daesh terrorist group seeking to claim responsibility for the Sri Lanka terror attacks that killed over 320 people, Muslims are once again the target of rising hatred and violence against them across the world. Concerns are growing over possible violent attacks, particularly targeting the Muslim population. Sri Lanka's state minister of defense said yesterday that the Easter attacks on churches, hotels and other sites were "carried out in retaliation" for the shooting massacre at two New Zealand mosques last month. The comments by Ruwan Wijewardene came shortly before Daesh asserted it was responsible for the bombings in and outside of Colombo. But neither Wijewardene nor Daesh provided evidence to immediately support their claims, and authorities previously blamed a little-known local group from the island nation for the attack. Sri Lanka's capital Colombo was hit by a deadly terror attack on Easter Sunday as the country was struck by a series of eight bombings in churches … [Read more...] about Fear of backlash grips Muslims after Sri Lanka terror attack
“Anti-Islamic terrorism,” which involves “psychopaths and murderers” fueled by racism and nationalism, is on the rise not only in Europe but all around the world, the director of Russia’s security service has warned. “A phenomenon of anti-Islamic terrorism is becoming a serious challenge,” Alexander Bortnikov, head of the Federal Security Service (FSB) said on Thursday. He suggested that deep divides between immigrants and natives are fertile soil for “the rise of nationalist sentiments… and right wing, neo-racist radicalism.” The emergence of cold-blooded psychopaths and murderers who harbor plans to slaughter Muslims is becoming an alarming trend not only in Europe, but in the rest of the world. The official referred to the New Zealand tragedy on March 15, when 28-year-old Australian Brenton Tarrant opened fire on Muslim worshippers at two city mosques as they gathered for Friday prayers. It was the worst shooting in … [Read more...] about Anti-Islamic terrorism becomes ‘alarming trend’ in Europe & beyond – Moscow
ISIS are plotting to recreate the Paris terror attacks as they plan a fresh wave of carnage across Europe and the Middle East. Chilling documents detail plans for terror attacks in Europe, funded and controlled by ISIS leaders. Details of the plans to "spread horror in the hearts of the enemies of Allah" were discovered on a hard drive dropped by a militant in the Syrian desert earlier this year. Despite the murderous group being "eliminated" from Syria last month, the documents reveal how ISIS continues to run international networks, move fighters over borders, pay for operations and plan bank robberies, vehicle attacks, assassinations and computer hacking. The documents, unearthed by the Sunday Times, show how operations abroad will be directed by ISIS member Abu Khabab al-Muhajir. They say he controls an ISIS cell in Russia and two in Germany. Another group will be based in north-eastern Syria under separate command. The aim would be to first steal money by "hacking banks" or "bank … [Read more...] about ISIS plotting to copy Bataclan nightclub Paris terror attack in chilling new campaign of massacre
