The shooting at the Independence Day parade in the Chicago suburb left at least six dead and more than two dozen injured. ABC 7's Tre Ward shared a video of Crimo being arrested in Lake Forest following the shooting. It has been viewed over 1 million times. "He was arrested near U.S. Highway 41 & Wesley Road in Lake Forest around the time when those police units sped off from where we are staged at in Highland Park," Ward wrote in a follow-up tweet to the video. The young man suspected of killing six people and injuring dozens at a Fourth of July parade uploaded a video showing the location of the attack before the mass shooting. Robert E Crimo III, 22, was arrested by police hours after shots were fired into the crowd during the celebrations in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park. Accounts that appear to belong to Crimo posted a number of violent and strange videos online, including crudely drawn animations of a violent shooting. Scene of the shooting The video showing Central Avenue, where the shooting took place, was filmed almost a year before the attack. The man suspected of shooting dead six people in Chicago was dressed as a woman to hide his facial tattoos, in a bid to blend in as he escaped the scene, police have said. Robert E Crimo III, 21, was arrested after the shooting at a Fourth of July parade in the Chicago suburb of Highland Park. He is alleged to have climbed up a fire escape ladder onto the roof of a business before firing more than 70 rounds at the crowd with a high-powered assault rifle. Lake County Major Crime Task Force spokesman Christopher Covelli said: "During the attack he was dressed in women's clothing and investigators do believe he did this to conceal his facial tattoos and his identity to help him during the escape with the other people who were fleeing the chaos." Man who stabbed nine-year-old boy 15 times given hospital order
A man who stabbed a nine-year-old boy in the face and hands has been given an indefinite hospital order. The young boy was walking home with his older brother in Peterborough on May 8 last year when Faisal Khan, 26, began following him. Khan overtook the pair before turning back and wielding a knife, grabbing the child and stabbing him about 15 times. The shocking attack continued until neighbours rushed out of their houses to help save him. Khan then fled from the scene and discarded a bloodied knife on a nearby driveway. He was arrested by police but they deemed him not fit to be interviewed. The boy survived but was left with life-changing injuries and permanent scarring. On Friday, Khan was sent to hospital for indefinite treatment instead of prison after he previously admitted attempted murder. He will only be released when he is deemed not to pose any risk to the public.
