For a start, they don't even call it a war. But our Russia editor reflects on a rare exchange broadcast on state TV. It was an extraordinary piece of television. The programme was 60 Minutes, the flagship twice-daily talk show on Russian state TV: studio discussion that promotes the Kremlin line on absolutely everything, including on President Putin's so-called "special military operation" in Ukraine. But on Monday night, studio guest Mikhail Khodarenok, a military analyst and retired colonel, painted a very different picture. Royal Family news- Prince Harry & Meghan ‘still pushing for royal life’ despite not wanting the ‘association’ with them
MEGHAN Markle and Prince Harry are “still pushing for royal life” despite not wanting to be "associated" with them, a royal expert has claimed. PR expert Lina Citreon discussed the Sussexes ’ lifestyle choices with Christina Garibaldi on the latest episode of Royally Us. Speaking on Royally Us, host Christina Garibaldi said: “They [ Harry and Meghan] are one of the most recognisable couples in the world but they also wanted to straddle that royal life. “You know, when they were told they couldn’t, they’re still using their HRH titles and things, so it seems like they’re still pushing the royal life but don’t really want to be associated with it either”. Climate change fuels surge in wildfires sparking concern of ‘devastating consequences’ if left unchecked
The number of wildfires recorded in England and Wales so far this year has already surpassed the 2021 total, fuelling concern for what the future might hold if the climate crisis is left unchecked. It is though the last decade in which Rangers have added a chapter that might be called "the fall and rise" but that would not quite capture the magnitude of the turmoil Rangers found themselves in back in 2012. The hordes of buoyant Rangers fans landing in Seville ahead of the Europa League final were in a very different place 10 years ago - there were tears outside the gates of Ibrox as the news was confirmed that this famous old club was to be liquidated. The finances were a mess - creative accounting built on quicksand had seen the club borrow more than it could afford. For the fans, the slow car crash that played out at Ibrox was painful to watch. As you might expect, their rivals delighted in the club's spectacular collapse. Advertisement Administration led to liquidation.
