Face masks may not be required indoors in public places over the summer, one of England's deputy chief medical officers has suggested. Prime Minister Boris Johnson has set out a roadmap for easing the COVID-19 lockdown which envisages all legal limits on people's social contact ending by 21 June at the earliest . COVID-19: Vaccine passports ‘could allow summer sports events at full capacity’, Silverstone boss says

Vaccine passports could make it possible for sports fans to watch the events they love this summer, the boss of Silverstone race track has said. Stuart Pringle, the managing director of the track, which hosts the British Grand Prix, has acknowledged "there's a long way to go" towards easing restrictions, but said the track's "technical people are already having conversations with testing organisations". The comments come as Prime Minister Boris Johnson outlined the government's roadmap for easing coronavirus lockdown restrictions in England over the forthcoming months. The leaders of Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland have also set out plans. Hollyoaks star Rhiannon Clements has revealed what will happen next as fans were shocked when Summer Ranger accidentally shot Sienna Blake. In Tuesday's first look episode, Summer was consumed with grief over the death of her father, Cormac, and she wanted revenge. She plotted to shoot Brody Hudson (Adam Woodward) dead due to his role in Cormac's death - but Sienna mistakenly walked into the line of fire. Masks may not be needed indoors over the summer, says top Government medic

People may not need to wear masks in shops and indoor spaces during the summer months, England's Deputy Chief Medical Officer has said. Dr Jenny Harries hinted that mandatory face coverings could be ditched after lockdown eases in June - but they may be needed again in the winter. Boris Johnson's four-step roadmap out of the national shutdown envisages an end to restrictions after June 21 if a key tests are met, such as the continued success of the vaccine rollout. Social distancing measures will be examined by ministers in the coming months, along with probes into vaccine passports, foreign holidays and large events. The Cabinet Office will lead the review into social distancing measures - including the “one metre plus” rule, face masks and working from home - ahead of getting to Step 4 from June 21. Towie star Mark Wright added to FIFA 21 with Crawley left-back officially WORST rated player on the game

MARK WRIGHT has been added to FIFA 21 with an almost offensive rating of just 47 - the joint-WORST on the entire game. The former Towie star, 34, was finally given his big break in professional football after joining Crawley Town in December . Wright had been Tottenham youth team captain as a teenager but admitted a summer of drinking and eating left him out of shape - leading to his release. Having waited 15 years to be given another chance, Wright has since played twice professionally. The left-back made his debut after coming off the bench late in the shock 3-0 FA Cup win over Leeds in January. But ecstasy turned to agony in his next run-out, as Wright was hauled off at half-time with Crawley 3-0 down at home to Harrogate Town.
