Sunderland’s squad is set to undergo a major overhaul in the summer of 2018. Following the club’s relegation to League One, Ellis Short sold the club to Stewart Donald who now plans to turn the club’s fortunes around. Manchester United have been quick to act in the summer transfer window as Jose Mourinho looks to mount a title challenge next season. The manner in which City strolled to the Premier League title will only inspire United to fight back even stronger next year. In response, Fred and Diogo Dalot were both added to the squad last month, while back-up goalkeeper Lee Grant has become the club's third signing of the summer. Mourinho won't be done with just the three, however, and is looking to bring in another two players as he attempts to transform his squad into title contenders. We're now a few weeks into the summer transfer window and clubs are starting to announce a number of signings ahead of the upcoming 2018/19 Premier League campaign. Everton are expected to be having a busy summer this time around, with another clear-out needed before quality additions are brought in to help improve the squad. New manager Marco Silva and director of football Marcel Brands have been assessing the current players over the last few weeks to identify which stars can be sold and prioritise what areas the Blues need to strengthen. But, on the whole, it's been fairly quiet - with Ramiro Funes Mori the only senior player to be sold thus far and with no incoming transfers to report.
