Cops fire on protesters in Myanmar killing at least 18 on deadliest day of anti-coup rallies

RIOT cops fired bullets, tear gas, water cannons and stun grenades at pro-democracy protestors in Myanmar killing at least 18 people, revealed the United Nations. The UN's human rights office said it had received "credible information" that throughout Sunday state police fired live ammunition into crowds leading to multiple deaths and leaving dozens more injured. Deaths were reported in cities including Yangon, Dawei and Mandalay leading to the highest single-day death toll among those demanding the restoration of Aung San Suu Kyi following a military coup. "We strongly condemn the escalating violence against protests in Myanmar and call on the military to immediately halt the use of force against peaceful protesters," said UN spokesperson Ravina Shamdasani. Convicted Nigerian fraudster  who claimed less than 24 hours before deportation that he was BISEXUAL is allowed to STAY in UK

A convicted Nigerian fraudster has been allowed to stay in the UK after claiming less than 24 hours before deportation that he was bisexual. The unnamed crook was jailed for five and half years in 2015 before the Home Office began the deportation process the following year. He made various human rights claims, which were rejected by a judge, but further delaying the process by launching an appeal. The criminal made two judicial review applications that were also eventually rejected but in January 2019 he claimed that he was bisexual and could not live openly in Nigeria – despite having never mentioned it during the lengthy court appeals. The Home Office claimed that this was a lie but an immigration judge granted him asylum, according to The Sun . Prince Harry has said he feared "history repeating itself" and the process of leaving royal life has been "unbelievably tough" for him and his wife Meghan. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex spoke to Oprah Winfrey about life in and out of the Royal Family. The interview with Winfrey, who lives near the couple's new home in Montecito, California, will be screened in the UK on 8 March, a day after it airs in the US. Andrew Cuomo: New York governor admits he may have been ‘too personal’ as sexual harassment probe launched

New York governor's has admitted some of his behaviour towards women "may have been insensitive or too personal" as he agreed to cooperate with a harassment investigation. Andrew Cuomo said he had teased people about their personal lives to be "playful" but denied propositioning anyone or any inappropriate touching. Two women have made claims against Mr Cuomo, one of America's most prominent state governors. Former aide Charlotte Bennett told The New York Times on Saturday that he had asked about her sex life, including whether she had ever had sex with older men and if she was monogamous in her relationships. Ms Bennett, 25, said she took it as gauging her interest in an affair.
