It’s hard to believe that we’re at the final stages of this year's Strictly! Last night, our remaining four couples performed two routines each in a bid to impress the judges. I’m always impressed by the speed of these live show costume quick changes. I usually have a team of seven or eight dressers assisting in the turnaround of different costumes during a busy ballet production. I assume Strictly have double that, especially when it involves hair/wigs and make up. Kicking off the night was Emma Barton dancing the Cha Cha in a costume that seemed like a slight repeat of last weeks, but this time in gold. Surprisingly, her partner Anton du Beke seemed to branch away from his usual tux wearing... … [Read more...] about Strictly Come Dancing 2019 semi-final: who wore it best?

SIR Bruce Forsyth’s wife says Strictly Come Dancing is now sexier than ever – and the late TV legend would have loved it. Lady Wilnelia Forsyth told how Bruce, the original presenter of the series who spent a decade at the helm, would have celebrated it becoming “more risqué”. The former Miss World, 62, who was married to the telly favourite for 35 years, has only just started to be able to watch the dancing show again following the national treasure’s death in 2017 from bronchial pneumonia. And while he would have also embraced the ballroom show celebrating same-sex dancers, she says the all-round entertainer — who spent 75 years at the top of the showbiz tree — would have lamented the absence of comedy acts and lack of straight-talking as TV stars have grown afraid of being dubbed politically incorrect. Lady Wilnelia told the Sun on Sunday: “At the beginning I just couldn’t watch, it was too painful. But this year I have been … [Read more...] about Bruce Forsyth’s widow says he would have loved sexed-up Strictly and same-sex dancers
MOTSI Mabuse might well spend Christmas Day collapsed in an exhausted heap. For the past three months Strictly Come Dancing’s newest judge has been mainly functioning on pure adrenalin, flying back and forth between filming commitments in the UK and her home in Germany, while also running her dance school and being mum to a lively 15-month-old daughter. Dress, Forever Unique - buy now And as we head towards the Strictly grand final next weekend, she says she’s expecting the crazy schedule to catch up with her any day now. “Maybe because I’m excited all the time, my body is keeping up… So far! I haven’t felt exhaustion yet. STRICTLY Come Dancing's Emma Weymouth has been spotted with her ankle in bandages after fellow contestant Catherine Tyldesley flashed her bruised legs. Earlier this week it was reported that tomorrow night's live show had come under doubt after many of the stars were hit by a sickness bug. And it appears that the ones who managed to avoid the lurgy are suffering in other ways, with the physical strain of the BBC dance show appearing to take its toll. Despite having her foot plastered up, 33-year-old Emma was all smiles as she left the It Takes Two studios in London earlier today. The brunette beauty, who is partnered with Aljaž Škorjanec, looked sensational in a strapless velvet gown. The stunning red number was floor length, but a tell-tale split in the skirt showed off the bandage - which perfectly matched Emma's nude heel shoes.Proving to be a true gent, Aljaž held the car door open for his celebrity partner - giving a chirpy thumbs up to the waiting photographers. … [Read more...] about Strictly’s Emma Weymouth spotted with her ankle in bandages after Catherine Tyldesley flashed her bruised legs
