Police have confirmed the body of a woman found in the Humber Estuary is missing Hull student Libby Squire. On Wednesday evening, Humberside Police confirmed they had recovered a body near to Grimsby Docks. Tragically, they have since said it is missing Hull student Libby. Libby, 21, a student at the University of Hull, disappeared in the early hours of Friday, February 1, after being turned away from Welly nightclub and getting a taxi home to Wellesley Avenue at around 11.30pm on Thursday, January 31. However, police believe she did not enter the property. She was later seen on CCTV at the corner of Haworth Street and Beverley Road between 11.45pm and 12.09am. A 24-year-old man was arrested in connection with Libby’s abduction before later being released under investigation and a property on Raglan Street has been regularly searched. A mum has voiced her horror after spotting an 11-year-old boy brandishing an eight inch kitchen knife - only for police to refuse to come out, saying it was 'no threat'. Gemma Fountain, 38, snapped the boy in broad daylight on a residential street in Eastbourne, East Sussex, at the weekend. Gemma watched from her home as the boy plunged the blade into a tree trunk and ran off to a nearby play park. Once the group of youngsters were out of sight, she went out and grabbed it to ensure they didn’t come back and take it later. Officers from Essex Police attempted to stop a blue Mazda 6 in Railway Street at around 5.10pm on Wednesday, March 6.The car then drove off and collided with up to six other vehicles.The occupants, two men, then ran off and were later spotted climbing over nearby gardens.Police are still searching for the pair.A spokesman for Essex Police added: “Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt and a man went to hospital for precautionary checks.”Police would like to hear from anyone with information about the incident or who has dash cam footage.
