A British technology start-up which is helping the NHS to monitor the safety of hospitals during the coronavirus pandemic is raising more than $15m of funding to accelerate its expansion.Sky News understands that Infogrid, which was founded in 2018 by William Cowell de Gruchy, a former British Army officer, will announce this week that it has secured backing from investors including Northzone, a backer of leading tech companies including iZettle, Spotify and Trustpilot.Infogrid helps organisations by using artificial intelligence to detect when refrigerated products are being kept outside the require temperature range, or to optimise the use of cleaning resources based on when a building's toilets are more frequently used.It can also measure air quality and virus risk indicators, or help reduce the risk of legionnaires disease in water pipes by automating compliance checks, according to the company's website.Among other investors participating in the funding round is JLL Spark, the … [Read more...] about Ex-Army officer marches on with £10m funding for AI firm Infogrid
