UNIVERSAL Credit is a single monthly payment that rolls six benefits into one. The payments are calculated depending on your individual circumstances so yours won't necessarily be the same as someone else's. It's designed to help people on lower incomes, but the government says it should also help people get back into work. But the more you work the more your benefits will be affected. MARTIN Lewis has grilled Rishi Sunak about the furlough scheme and workers who’ve been “left out in the lurch” from help. The MoneySavingExpert founder quizzed the Chancellor in an exclusive interview on the Martin Lewis Money Show on ITV. As part of yesterday’s Budget , the Chancellor confirmed he was extending the furlough scheme until the end of September . The Government will continue to pay furloughed workers' wages up to a maximum of £2,500 a month until the end of June. Employers will then be required to meet 10% of those wages in July and 20% in August and September as the scheme winds down. The Budget announcement means millions will have been paid to stay at home for 17 months by the end of the furlough scheme. Furlough - officially known as the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme - has protected more than 11million jobs since its creation last March. Lockdown has been a nightmare... but for singer Paloma Faith it did lead to her dream family. The star was on the brink of ­giving up in her bid for a second child after five failed rounds of IVF sapped her both physically and mentally. Katie Price has thrown her support behind Ant Middleton after he was axed from SAS Who Dares Wins for personal conduct. The former glamour model, 42, appeared on the 2020 celebrity edition of the series but was forced to leave early because she was recovering from a breast reduction surgery and was not physically healed enough to take part. The mother-of-four credits meeting Cold Justice author Ant during her short stint on the show for turning her life around and says she is keen to work with him again. Katie told The Sun Online: "I would do another show with him at the drop of a hat." Her representative added: "Katie looks back on her time on SAS: Who Dares Wins with fondness. TIGER Woods was found unconscious in his SUV after his crash by a local man, new court documents revealed on Friday. A man who lives near the Rolling Hills Estates told law enforcement officials he heard a crash and walked to the accident scene where he saw Woods, according to an affidavit submitted by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Johann Schloegl. The man tried speak with Woods but he would not answer questions and was unresponsive, the affidavit states. Shortly after, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Deputy Carlos Gonzalez arrived at the scene and said Woods was conscious and able to answer basic questions. It is the first time since the crash on February 23 that authorities have disclosed that the golf star was unconscious. According to the affidavit, Woods told sheriff's deputies at the site and at the hospital that he did not remember driving or how the crash happened.
