THE death of former Star Trek actor Jon Paul Steuer has been ruled as a suicide. The 33-year-old died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound police in Oregon told The Blast. Jon played Alexander Rozhenko in The Next Generation saga of the sci-fi favourite. He also landing the role of Quentin Kelly in 90s sitcom Grace Under Fire before quitting acting. Also known as Jonny P Jewels when he moved into a career in music and restaurants, Jon died on New Years Day aged just 33. Thousands of fans and friends wrote touching eulogies after his death was announced. Late actor Jon Paul Steuer as Quentin Kelly in Grace Under Fire One Star Trek fan wrote: "Live long and prosper in the heavens" quoting legendary character Dr Spock's famous saying.
