When it comes to Christmas films, Netflix has released a string of pretty great original movies. At the top of that list is A Christmas Prince, which is getting a sequel this year featuring a royal wedding - but there is also Christmas Inheritance and The Holiday Calendar. But if all of the above weren't enough to give you your festive fill, then fear not, as the streaming service have just released a trailer for a brand new Christmas rom-com called The Princess Switch. Starring High School Musical's Vanessa Hudgens, the movie looks like a fantastic mix between The Parent Trap and A Christmas Prince. The plot follows Stacy, played by 29-year-old Hudgens, a baker from Chicago who gets invited to take part in a Christmas baking competition by the royal family of Belgravia. She travels to the competition with a co-worker and while there she meets Margaret (also played by Hudgens), the Duchess of Montenaro. The duchess is destined to marry Prince Edward on New Years Eve, but decidedly … [Read more...] about Fans of The Parent Trap are going to love Netflix’s new Christmas movie

NETFLIX is planning to allow users to choose the endings for movies or episodes of popular TV shows like Black Mirror as it pushes further into interactive TV, according to a report. The streaming giant is developing specials that will let its users decide the next storyline, Bloomberg reported Monday (paywall), citing people familiar with the matter. Netflix had earlier released the animated program Puss in Book where viewers could choose whether the feisty feline fights a god or a tree. After watching one version, kids can go back and watch the other. The first project of the new lineup is expected to be released by the end of this year, with an episode of Netflix’s popular sci-fi show Black Mirror. The stories that branch off from the main narrative of “Black Mirror” will be more complicated than the options in the kids’ programming, according to Bloomberg. The new “choose your own adventure” shows can complicate the production, as well as … [Read more...] about Netflix to let viewers choose the endings to their most popular shows and movies
The trailer for ‘Billionaire Boys Club’, which features Kevin Spacey’s return to the spotlight, has been revealed, ahead of the movie’s July release. Spacey has been out of the limelight since multiple men accused him of sexual harassment back in November 2017. While its release is imminent, ‘Billionaire Boys Club’ was filmed three years ago, with production wrapping in January 2016. The movie tells a true story, and sees Kevin play Ron Levin, a con artist who convinces a group of young men to create a ponzi scheme. ‘Billionaire Boys Club’ reunites Spacey with his ‘Baby Driver’ co-star Ansel Elgort and also stars Emma Roberts, Taron Egerton and Jeremy Irvine. Following the harassment allegations, Spacey was … [Read more...] about Kevin Spacey Returns To Spotlight In Trailer For First Film Since Abuse Allegations

WE'RE more familiar with seeing him as a soldier-turned-traitor or a hedge fund king - and he's even been tipped as the next James Bond. But the usually slim A-list star looked completely unrecognisable as he walked around his new movie set in Toronto this week. Incredibly, under a fat suit and thick-layer prosthetics is none other than British actor Damian Lewis. He's playing former mayor of Toronto, Rob Ford, in the movie Run This Town, which follows a young reporter attempting to expose a scandal in the Canadian city. The Homeland star may seem an unlikely choice for the role as the controversial crack-smoking politician - who was around 10st heavier than Lewis. But thanks to some incredible cosmetics, the 47-year-old has been bulked up to match Ford's portly figure - and the similarity is uncanny. Lewis told Kit Magazine earlier this month, the process takes seven hours and involves "getting his face and head completely covered in silicon strips, breathing through a small hole … [Read more...] about A-list actor looks unrecognisable in new film role – but can you guess which movie star this is?
