‘F*** You TV!’ Tom Brady Rant On Sports Media Goes Viral After He Inks Deal With Fox Sports | The Daily Wire
A sports media rant featuring football legend Tom Brady went viral just days after he announced his post-retirement plan: a spot on Fox Sports. In the video, released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Brady appears to explain that blowing off the comments and analyses of television commentators after a loss helps to keep them from getting in his head while he needs to remain focused on the game. . @TomBrady does watch media critics' reaction following a rare loss. “I just look at the TV and I go ‘F-ck you guys, f-ck you.” – with two middle fingers raised. “You block out the noise, because none of it matters.” [ @Buccaneers ] pic.twitter.com/jfr76Vxltf — Dov Kleiman (@NFL_DovKleiman) May 17, 2022 Brady said that while he does watch the critics after a loss, he doesn’t do it to hear their advice. “I just look at the TV and I go like this,” Brady said, flipping both middle fingers at the camera. “F*** you guys, f*** you TV,” Brady continued, flashing a smile. Games Inbox: PS Plus Premium disappointment, Silent Hill 2 praise, and EA Sports FC predictions
The Tuesday letters page is confused as to how Sony is handling the PS Plus reveals, as a reader hopes a XCOM 3 announcement is imminent. To join in with the discussions yourself email [email protected] Reasonable questions PS Plus announcement from Sony is… kind of bad? Why wouldn’t they announce all the games at the same time? Why is all this being done via low effort blog posts? Why are the PS Plus Premium games so especially bad? How do you start a major new retro service and not have a single PlayStation 2 game? You know, games from the most successful home console ever made? As you can see, I have many questions about the new PS Plus and Sony’s bizarre way of promoting it. I know they weren’t keen on it being compared to Game Pass but, believe me, nobody is doing that right now, because it’s obvious that Microsoft’s take on the same idea is a whole letter better. This just all seems very random and badly organised, like someone’s homework rushed … [Read more...] about Games Inbox: PS Plus Premium disappointment, Silent Hill 2 praise, and EA Sports FC predictions
Bowie v Elvis: How rock stars took over Cannes
Tom Cruise, Tom Hanks, David Cronenberg, K-Stew. The Cannes organisers have certainly rallied the A-list troops for the rabidly anticipated 75th edition of the film festival, which kicks off today. After last year’s Covid instalment – an understandably muted, half-mast affair – the promise this year is a full blast of Cannes delirium, with rumoured controversies, proper parties and paparazzi galore. If this suggests a rocking good time, selectors are tripling down on that threat with air-guitar largesse, by unveiling a hat-trick of high-profile features about music legends: Elvis Presley, David Bowie and Jerry Lee Lewis. The latter two are documentaries, while Elvis is a full-blown jukebox biopic from Baz Luhrmann , who hasn’t made a film since 2013’s Cannes curtain-raiser The Great Gatsby. First up is Jerry Lee Lewis: Trouble in Mind, a breezy-looking, 73-minute portrait of one of rock ’n’ roll’s original wild men, whose career nose-dived when he married his 13-year-old … [Read more...] about Bowie v Elvis: How rock stars took over Cannes
Two-Card Monte: Why Mastercard And Visa Rarely Shut Down Scammers Who Are Ripping Off Consumers
Paul Paolucci, the top cop for one of the world’s biggest credit card companies, sure had some interesting friends. One made a fortune fronting for pornography websites that needed access to Mastercard’s and Visa’s payment networks. Paolucci, who oversaw Mastercard’s merchant fraud control, was photographed cavorting around the Las Vegas Hard Rock Hotel with him and a group of women in white corset minidresses. A second was a Lamborghini-driving e-commerce mogul with whom Paolucci used to celebrate family holidays. The mogul ended up in prison for a financial crime he committed, in part, using Mastercard’s network. An executive at a famously corrupt European bank claimed to have dined with Paolucci and gotten his help evading Mastercard’s regulations. It was Paolucci’s job to make sure that the banks and companies using Mastercard’s network were playing by the rules. He bent those rules himself by getting close to the very kinds of high-risk businesses he was supposed to be … [Read more...] about Two-Card Monte: Why Mastercard And Visa Rarely Shut Down Scammers Who Are Ripping Off Consumers
