The star was singing Times Like These when he paused to collect his emotions on the lyric: "It's times like these you learn to love again." Earlier, Grohl described Hawkins as his "dear friend, bandmate and brother". He said of Hawkins "no-one else could make you smile or laugh or dance or sing like he could". "And for those of you that admired him from afar, I'm sure you've all felt the same thing," Grohl added. "So sing and dance and laugh and cry and scream and make some noise so he can hear us right now." Members of the influential Northern Research Group (NRG) said Liz Truss needed to take "urgent action". The policy was promised in the party's 2019 election manifesto. Carlisle Tory MP John Stevenson, who was elected as chairman of the NRG earlier this month, urged Ms Truss to "double down on levelling up". He said: "That requires both short-term action in the form of tax cuts and investment in public services and, in the long term, finding ways to boost the productivity of towns and cities that have struggled for decades to retain talent and attract private investment." Rylan Clark gave an emotional and raw interview about his marriage breakdown on Thursday's The One Show - but it was a brief moment between himself and host Alex Jones that left viewers in tears. The 33 year old joined Alex, who is usually his co-host on the BBC show, and Roman Kemp to speak about his memoir Ten: The Decade That Changed My Future. Things got so bad he even tried to end his own life after coming clean to Dan about cheating “years ago”, he tells readers in the book. He said, gesturing to Alex: "Just to get it out of the way. Tier three restrictions came into force at midnight in the Cheshire town - two days earlier than originally planned. Council leader Russ Bowden said it was the right decision to move Warrington into the "very high" Covid alert level. "This is a public health imperative. What we need to do is protect the lives of our residents," he said. "And - obviously alongside that - [it is about] protecting businesses and jobs here in the town".
