New Zealand Idol judge Iain Stables has fallen foul of the Broadcasting Standards Authority (BSA) for telling his radio show listeners to harass "the cat Hitler''. Christchurch man Ray Spring was awarded $1500 by the BSA, which found Stables, not named in the decision, had breached his privacy by broadcasting his personal details. Stables, at the time working as a ZM radio presenter, railed against Spring the morning after he spoke of his dislike for cats on TV3's Campbell Live last August. On the show Mr Spring demonstrated how he trapped and drowned cats. Stables played excerpts, then told listeners where Spring's personal details were in the phone book. "We suggest that if you feel how we do ... that you send something to him to let him know that perhaps you're not very happy,'' Stables said. Friends co-creator Marta Kauffman has issued an apology for the 'lack of diversity' in the series 28 years on from its debut. The popular sitcom was a huge global hit throughout the 90s and into the early 00s after its 1994 launch, getting fans hooked from its first episode. But now Marta has admitted feeling that she is 'embarrassed' that she didn't make the show more inclusive at its inception due to the all-white main cast. Skipper Tom Sexton stripped to his boxers to rescue a meerkat called Boris confused itself for a Lemming and jumped 30ft off the side of the boat. Luckily Boris survived the jump from the Gry Maritha when it arrived in port at Penzance, Cornwall. His escape bid was not alone – his travelling companion Doris had managed to escape their cat cage and made a bid for freedom. She was caught, but Boris made his bid for freedom. A TEEN accused of murdering a five-year-old boy played Call of Duty just hours after the youngster's body was pulled from a river, a court heard. Logan Mwangi was found with horrific injuries after being dumped in the Ogmore River near his home in Bridgend like "fly-tipped" rubbish. His mum Angharad Williamson, 30, stepdad John Cole, 40, and a 14-year-old boy are accused of murder and perverting the course of justice. Jurors at Cardiff Crown Court today watched bodycam footage of police at an address around three to four hours after his body was pulled from the river. PC Brian Cooper said the teen defendant was playing Call of Duty on his Xbox at the time. The officer said he was "fully immersed" in the game and made a comment, saying: "You're f***ing adopted". The 16-year-old had shared a photo of her holding her dad’s hand without showing his face, but showing he was sitting up in bed and holding his phone. Yesterday, photos emerged of the 46-year-old musician being carried into an ambulance on a stretcher before being taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with wife Kourtney Kardashian by his side.
