The UK Government has finally approved the sale of Chelsea with the Todd Boehly /Clearlake consortium now set to buy the Premier League club from Roman Abramovich. Chelsea news, exclusives and analysis Privacy Policy The £4.25 billion takeover bid was held up earlier this month after the government raised concerns that Abramovich would renege on his pledge to waive a £1. 6 bn loan . Abramovich, who bought Chelsea for £140 million in 2003, is unable to receive a single penny from the sale of the club after he was sanctioned by the government in March . The Russian oligarch had insisted that all net proceeds, believed to be the money from the sale minus legal fees, would be used ‘for the benefit of all victims of the war in Ukraine’. Abramovich has now legally agreed for his £1.6bn loan to Chelsea to be placed in a frozen account under government control. With just days remaining until new federal rules will effectively ban so-called ghost guns on Aug. 24, many companies are scrambling to sell parts needed to make the largely untraceable firearms — and gun enthusiasts continue to build them. In April, President Joe Biden announced new regulations that will treat ghost guns — which can be made from parts bought online or with 3D printers — like any other firearms sold in the U.S. Typical firearms must include a serial number that lets law enforcement trace them if they're used in a crime, but ghost guns don't have serial numbers. Also, anyone can buy ghost gun parts online without a background check, allowing criminals to bypass restrictions designed to prevent them from purchasing a traditional firearm from a licensed dealer. Swiss company Micro Mobility Systems AG’s new Microlino vehicle is the grown-up version of the Little Tikes coupe you’ve been waiting for. A prototype of the electric mini-vehicle was unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show back in 2016 and had 500 pre-orders in under two weeks. It’s been a long road, but the Microlino has finally entered production and will begin delivery in Europe. Prices have gone up compared to the initial announcement, but it’s still a good deal for a cute EV. Despite its similarities to the Little Tike, its design is actually based on the Italian Isetta ‘bubble car’ from 1956. It already has around 30,000 reservations and the electric vehicle startup Micro Mobility Systems has just announced that it has begun production on the Microlino 2.0 micro car. CHELSEA fans have responded with fury to the 'eye-watering' £75 ticket price for their return to Stamford Bridge. The Blues have been given the green light to welcome 2,000 supporters to their upcoming games with Leeds and Krasnodar. A ballot system will be deployed to dish out the tickets. But supporters were stunned by the jaw-dropping price tag of £75 for the West Stand seats opposite the dugouts. Some 1,600 of the 2,000 fans allowed in will have to fork out the fee to watch the Leeds game on December 5. The other 400 are to be housed behind the goal in the Shed End, where seats cost £40 each. Chelsea welcome Krasnodar to West London on December 8 and all tickets are set at £35 for that Champions League clash. Juniors, concessions and disabled supporters are able to buy a seat at a 50 per cent deduction. Leading the furious response were the Chelsea Supporters' Trust, who were left 'appalled' by the fees.
