The Sky Blue Army have been handed an extra batch of tickets after selling out their initial 4,000 allocation for next week’s second leg play-off semi-final at Notts County’s Meadow Lane within hours of going on sale this morning. Coventry City have negotiated an extra 500 seats for the match that will be played on Friday, May 18, with a 7:45pm kick-off. Details of when they will be available for sale will be confirmed once they are arrive at the club. Tickets for the away leg went on sale at 9am today with tickets sold out online and via the call centre just before 11am. Tickets were held back for disabled supporters to purchase at the Butts Park Arena Ticket Office, with this number in proportion to the allocation and amount of disabled/ambulant disabled supporters which the club has. The world famous Red Arrows will once again be above the skies of Cleethorpes as the RAF aerobatics team have been confirmed for the Armed Forces Weekend. The Armed Forces Weekend will take place on June 29 to July 1, and there will be a number of special air displays throughout the weekend, as the people of Cleethorpes commemorate all of those who have fought in the armed forces and celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Royal Air Force. Saturday will see the main Armed Forces Day parade, as veterans and military vehicles will parade from Grant Street right along the Cleethorpes sea front, along with a special flying display from the Blades in the afternoon. The Blades are a world renowned aerobatic team whose members are all comprised of ex-Red Arrow members, and the display should prove to be a great way to kick start the weekends festivities.
